Jeff’s CHR radio career started back in the early 1980’s with a visit to 98 ½ KRZ in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  

Immediately upon their return home, he and his friend constructed  their very own radio station in the basement…Cardboard walls and all!  Special thanks to Bill Granza who took the fir hazard in stride and entertained the dream of an 11 year old boy!!

 In June of 1989, after about a year of persistence, Jeff landed his first REAL radio gig at the very radio station that started it all: WKRZ.  He spent 6 years there as a "jack of all trades" but his first love was being on the air part time and producing the imaging for the station. 

 In early 1995, Jeff went on to New Haven to work with Scott Shannon and Mike Preston at WKCI, which they were consulting at the time.  He held down afternoons and did all of the imaging until his departure in December of 1997.

 Even though a move clear across the country wasn’t planned, Salt Lake City, UT came calling.  Jeff moved there in January 1998 to work in the exact same capacity at KZHT.  He took over the PD reigns for Marc Summers in August of 2000 and just celebrated his 12th anniversary at the station.  In January of 2008, he also picked up the Programming duties of KODJ, a heritage Classic Hits/Oldies station. 

 That same year, Jeff also began to expand in the commercial voiceover arena.  In February of 2009, he landed his first TV commercial ever, a project for ESPN/Guinness Beer, celebrating the beverage giant’s 250 years in business.

He’s since worked with appliance company LG, Copart, an online auto auction website, Michael Collins Irish Whiskey, Norwood Promotional Products, and more.  He is currently the voice of “Predator Quest” and “Bullseye Outdoor Adventures” which both air on The Sportsman, Outdoor and Pursuit Channels.  He is also the station voice of KZHT in Salt Lake City, UT.

  Jeff resides just North of Salt Lake City, UT with his wife, Abbi and his three stepkids, Zen, Olivia and Dayne.  Oh, and we can’t forget Bo Bo the Morkie!!
