 Allan started his career right out of high school after an illustrious run in the telemarketing department of a local lawn care company.  "I really knew there was nowhere to go but down after peaking so early in the direct marketing world, so radio was the logical next step", Allan said in an exclusive Benztown interview.  While cutting his on-air chops in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market working staggering four hour shifts six days a week, he somehow found the extra time to build his voice over career saying mind blowing things like, "batteries not included", "void where prohibited", and the phrase that really put Allan on the map, "open to all U.S. residents".  "People don't realize those sometimes take 2-3 takes.  It's not just a one and done world.  There's a lot more work involved than people know," he said in-between two brutal 9 minute sessions for CBS.  "Now that I've moved up to saying more important things like "Monday at 9/8 Central", I've begun to realize how I can impact global issues like world hunger and poverty.  It still blows me away that our minimum wage is what it is, when people in China and India are making twice what we do doing half the work.  This is my way of giving back."  Benztown is proud to be invloved with such a humanitarian, and you owe it to yourself to give this inspiring voice a listen.  You'll be a better person for it, and so will your listeners.
